Mukilteo Bedroom Remodel

We designed and oversaw this Mukilteo bedroom remodel that included combining two first floor bedrooms into one large master suite.
The resulting bedroom space connects to the kitchen, bathroom and deck for easy access to the rest of the first floor and outside. Our goal was to create a warm, inviting consolidated living and sleeping space.
We added a pocket door between the bedroom and bathroom for ADA accessibility.
A new gas fireplace was added to create a comfortable sitting area in the bedroom.
Built-in cabinets with open book shelves and storage frame the window seat.
The transition between the bedroom flooring and bathroom tile was critical for ADA access.
We re-upholstered existing family furnishings to create a living area within the bedroom.
New closets were built with mirrored doors to reflect the view.
Toile duvet cover, damask pillows and hand-sewn throw compliment the wall and ceiling color.
A custom-built armoire was added for easy access to clothing. The traditional area rug creates a living room feel and adds softness to flooring.
