In March 2015, Mary Hansen Design completed this North Everett Kitchen Remodel. The kitchen was taken back to the framing allowing us to raise the ceiling to its full 9’6” height. New plumbing, wiring, lighting white oak flooring to match the existing design.
The kitchen window was made taller and wider and new 8’ French doors were installed.
The custom cabinetry is hand painted with soapstone counters and splash. The stove splash is a hand made tile featuring a pot filler above the stove. A custom fabricated stainless shelf is fixed under the warming lights.
The kitchen sink window was made larger for added natural light at the sink work space. Increasing the ceiling height by the french doors off the back deck and making them 8′ tall doors to give a spacious feel.
Cabinets were designed to feel like the era of the house by using the original 9’6″ height.
Mary Hansen Design would like to thank contractor Chris Steele Carpentry, cabinet painting by Pat Gossan Painting, hand made tile from Pratt and Larsen Tile and Eckstrom Industries for custom stainless shelf fabrication.
